Which are not basketball workouts

All workouts do not fall in the category of basketball workouts. For example the conditioning workouts such as jumping, running, and weightlifting are not basketball workouts. How to develop basketball workouts

In comes over a period of time. Second, workouts should be done on the regular basis and there is no place for skipping. The basketball sessions should be supplemented by a healthy diet also. Third, a particular time should be fixed for the basketball workouts out of the whole day. Changing the workout time daily will defeat the purpose as such workouts need a balanced routine and balanced life also. Moreover, a routine based basketball workout can only be sustained for a longer period and will give the desired results. Fourth, the workout selected for the basketball should truly address the requirements of the game. So the workout session should be designed to train the different skills of the game. Fifth, listening music is not bad and so if music is introduced in the workout session the scene would be different as the whole scheme of theme would become more interesting. Moreover, music may help concentrate on the workouts also. Sixth, set the goal which can be sustained easily. Repetitions beyond the capacity may be harmful. So the strength and weakness should be addressed practically before setting the type of workouts and the number of repetitions. Seventh, the progress can be easily monitored by maintaining a diary. It will tell the story how things are going on and if there is an improvement is there or not. Eight, Split the development into three phases and analyze the different stages during as the time progresses with the workout session over a period of time. It helps in self assessment. Ninth, for beginners it essential to include the components such as shooting off the dribble, catch and shoot, back to the basket moves and free throws in the workout program.
