These workouts help burn excess fat but not carbohydrate and are not detrimental to the body joints. High intensity cardio workouts on the other hand are of short duration but with high intensity and therefore require reasonable rest. These workouts also help burn excess calories and increase the body metabolism. Here a best solution is that a combination of both should be done to see the desired result.
